The Statesboro Police Department made an arrest in a case of Entering Auto at a local business.
On 5/27/17 at approximately 9:20 AM, the Statesboro Police Department was notified that several parked vehicles were unlawfully entered during the night at Westside Automotive, a local auto repair shop. Radios and other audio system components had been removed from some of the vehicles. Officers responded and began investigating.
That evening, officers conducted surveillance at the business and apprehended the listed suspect in the act of unlawfully entering an automobile.
The suspect was arrested without incident and transported to the Bulloch County Jail to await further court action.

Chief of Police Mike Broadhead described the arrest as tremendous police work. “The officers investigating this case showed a great deal of personal initiative and conducted a stake-out of the property. Their willingness to put in extra effort in this case allowed them to catch the suspect in the act. This is a great example of the officers and staff of the Statesboro Police Department working hard to stop criminal activity.”
