3 Arrested on Drug and Gun Charges by Impact Team

The Statesboro Police Department’s Impact Team made 3 arrests on drug and gun charges this past Friday.

On October 12th, members of the Statesboro Police Department’s Impact Team executed a search warrant at a residence in the Cambridge the Palms apartment complex. During the search they discovered quantities of marijuana and cocaine, drug related objects and 2 firearms, 1 of which was stolen. Three individuals within the residence were arrested on charges related to the evidence uncovered by the search. They are listed below.

Larry Orenthal Mitchell

24 years old

1 count                   Possession of Firearm during Commission of a Felony

1 count                   Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute

1 count                   Possession of a Drug Related Object

1 count                   Theft by Receiving Stolen Property
